Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Suiteable collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Who we are

Suiteable is operated by Suite-able, Toronto, Ontario, Canada ("Suiteable", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described here. Our Privacy Officer is Marya Shaharyar, reachable at info@suite-able.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and sign-in method, such as email and password or a Google account.
  • Your preference profile: what you tell us about how you travel, such as your vibe, must-haves, budget and dealbreakers. You write this in your own words.
  • Search activity: the hotels and cities you search, the verdicts and recommendations we generate, and when.
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifier, browser type and approximate location from your IP. We use these to run the service, prevent abuse and enforce search limits, including for visitors without an account.
  • Messages to us: anything you send to support. We also keep a record of which booking links are clicked (the hotel and the partner), not linked to your name or account.
  • Stay feedback: if you choose to tell us how a stay went, your rating and answers.

We do not ask for your date of birth, government ID, or precise location.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • Provide the service (create your account, run searches, tailor verdicts to your preferences, show your history). Basis for EU and UK users: contract.
  • Keep the service safe and fair (rate limits, fraud and abuse prevention, security logs). Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Improve the service (fix errors, understand which features are used). Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Improve the accuracy of verdicts (using stay feedback you choose to give, in anonymized and aggregated form). Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Measure our advertising (see which ads lead to visits and signups, using Google Ads). Basis: consent for EU and UK users, legitimate interests elsewhere.
  • Meet legal duties (tax records, responding to lawful requests). Basis: legal obligation.

In Canada we rely on your consent, which you give when you create an account and accept this policy. You can withdraw it at any time, though the service will not work without the information it needs.

4. How we use AI

To produce a verdict, we send your hotel or city query, and the parts of your preference profile needed to personalize the result, to AI language-model providers. These models may also search the web for current information about the hotel.

  • The providers process this data for us to return a result.
  • We do not use your personal information to train our own models.
  • Verdicts are generated automatically. They are guidance, not a decision with legal effect on you. You can ask us to explain how a verdict was reached or to have a person review it.

5. Sensitive information

Your preference profile is free text. Please do not include health conditions, religion, ethnicity, or other sensitive details unless they matter to your trip, such as accessibility needs. If you do, you consent to us processing it only to personalize your results. You can edit or delete your profile at any time. We do not use sensitive details for marketing or profiling.

6. Who we share it with, and where it goes

We share information only with the following, and only as needed:

  • Hosting and backend provider (Base44), which stores your data and runs our application.
  • AI providers (third-party language-model providers), as described in section 4.
  • Analytics and error tools (if we use any), using limited technical data.
  • Font provider (Google Fonts), which receives your IP address when your browser loads our fonts.
  • Advertising measurement (Google Ads), as described in sections 7 and 12.
  • Authorities and advisers when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or others.
  • A buyer or successor if Suiteable is sold or merged, under the same commitments.

Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws can differ from yours and where courts and authorities may be able to access it. Where required, we use contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (EU and UK), and for Quebec residents we assess these transfers before they take place.

When you follow a link to a hotel, review site or booking site, that site's own privacy policy applies. Booking links may be affiliate links handled by our partner Stay22. When you click one, Stay22 and the booking site may set cookies to credit us with the booking. We do not send them your name, email, account or preferences.

7. Selling and sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use Google Ads to measure which of our ads lead to visits and signups. To do that, Google receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you view on Suiteable. Some laws, including California's, treat this as "sharing" for advertising. You can opt out at any time by using the "Your privacy choices" link in the footer, by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing info@suite-able.com. We do not send Google your name, email address, account details or preference profile.

8. Children

Suiteable is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have. If you think a child has given us information, contact us.

9. How long we keep it, and how we protect it

  • Account and preference profile: while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of closure.
  • Search history and verdicts: 24 months, or until you delete them.
  • IP address and device identifier: 90 days for security and limit enforcement, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Support messages: 2 years.

Booking-link click records are kept for 180 days and are not linked to your account. We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring, and we limit who on our team can see personal data. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires, and we keep a record of every breach.

10. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Access the information we hold about you and receive a copy, including in a portable format.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your information. You can also delete your account in the app.
  • Withdraw consent or object to a use based on our legitimate interests.
  • Restrict how we use your information.
  • Ask about automated decisions and request human review.

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing, and we will not treat you worse for using them. If you live in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority. If you live in Canada, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial regulator, including the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Email info@suite-able.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We respond within 30 days, and tell you if we need longer. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. If we refuse a request, we will explain why and how to appeal.

11. Email

We do not send marketing email. We only send account and security messages and replies to your support requests. If this changes, we will ask for your opt-in first.

12. Cookies, local storage, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and tell devices apart for fair-use limits. Our booking partner Stay22 may set cookies when you view a verdict or click a booking link, so that commissions are credited correctly. We load that script only when your browser has not sent a Global Privacy Control signal and, if we detect that you are in the EU or UK, only if you accept cookies. Google Ads sets cookies and receives page-view data to measure our advertising. We load that tag only when your browser has not sent a Global Privacy Control signal, you have not used "Your privacy choices", and, if we detect that you are in the EU or UK, you have accepted cookies. We do not use other advertising cookies. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals beyond that, because there is no common standard.

13. Changes

If we make a material change, we will email you or show a notice in the app before it takes effect, and update the date above.

14. Contact and complaints

Privacy questions or requests: info@suite-able.com. Mail: Suite-able, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You can also bring a complaint to the regulators named in section 10.
